I bought a Brompton and I went for the most expensive one I can reasonably afford

After buying an older, used Brompton in the beginning of this year and using it for nearly 10 months now, I wanted to buy a completely new Brompton; and I happen to have the funds just in time for the 50th anniversary edition. Ngl, I was hesitant to buy it because it looked a bit too gaudy at first. But I went for it anyway because I liked to have a limited edition bike and yolo. I’m so glad I did. It looks even better in person. Not really gaudy tbh. I think seeing the bike with the LV-esque bag and bottle holder made it look more fancy than it actually is. To me, the bike just looks like a combination of the lacquer colors that Brompton had over the years with white walled tires and gold accents.

Overall, I’m really loving the design and I’m glad I’ve saved enough funds in time to afford this comfortably 🙂
