Canyon’s size tool puts me on M at 182 cm height and 84 cm inseam, but I’m torn between M and L for long mountain loops (sustained climbs + mixed descents). If you’re on the M/L border, what worked better long-term—L for stability or M for agility? Please share your height/inseam, chosen size, and any cockpit tweaks.
Thanks!

I am 181 and 84 as well. I have an ultimate M. Don’t get the L, it will be too long
For Canyon always the smaller Size.
There Frames are not the same Size as other Brands Like Specialized of Trek.
M will be better for You
Which bike? There is no “Canyon:ON”. ON is Canyon’s brand name for their electrical bikes.
I have a Spectral onfly and got fitted at a canyon partner. I was on the cusp of M/L on their chart. Typically ride L on other brands like my Santa Cruz and specialized.
The fitter explained that it depends on your body type, if you’re more torso than go with the bigger size, if you’re more legs than go the smaller size.
I have long arms and went with L and it’s the right size for me.
