There’s something silly about this question but now that I know about Mushroom Head Syndrome I’m worried I’m gonna go on the next coffee ride and be secretly mocked by my friends.
This is Sweet Protection’s Fluxer in the barbera metallic. Last pic is my current helmet (Giro). Sweet protection is definitely more oval and caused me to size up. What do y’all think?!

No helmets are cool. But that one looks ‘less dorky’ than many. Nice color. Big improvement over your current one.
Red one is much better IMO.
S works Evade 3 or evade 2 are less mushroomy, could check those out too!

If that happens then they’re not actually your friends. Personally, I prefer brighter colors for visibility but just pick something you like. Anybody who mocks someone for how a helmet looks is just sad.
You look like an extra in the upcoming Tron ares movie. Also look like you’re smoking a cigar in pic 2.

It’s high in safety rating. I tried this helmet but ended up going with the Kask Protone Icon

get a cap under the helmet, if reduces the mushroom head by 15%, better than nothing.
The burgundy one will keep your brains from coming out if your hit the asphalt!
My two favorite helmets are Sweet Protection Falconer and Kask Protone Icon.

Yes for SP! I have SP Fluxer MIPS in Matt White and absolutely love love love it – well ventilated, light and looks good
I have never cared about looking cool with my helmet, I just cared that it is MIPS certified. I had a horrible crash going about 20 mph last weekend mid Ironman 70.3 (still finished) and I heard a loud thud when I crashed. Helmet saved my life, and the color or coolness didn’t matter.
The red is sweet though
Giro seems to be too big for you. Looks like there is a gap between your head and the helmet. Might just be the picture.
