Hi everyone, I am having a very hard time choosing between both bikes, I live in Socal and currently have a Giant Talon 1. Here are both bikes on sale:

I don’t do crazy jumps and mostly do long trails (25 miles) with some very long uphills and climbs. There are also some pretty challenging downhills but I really want a bike that can go uphill well as I am currently owning a hardtail and it climbs very well. So the 125 seems to make more sense…
However for the price difference, the Spectral 29 CF looks to have a better specs and components? I also have back and knee problems so maybe a longer travel would be better for my body?
For people that have the spectral 29 CF, how does it climb? Would there be a huge climbing difference between both bikes?

I’d do the 29 for the modest increase, and because the green looks cooler
I have the 29 CF7. It climbs fine, and you need to understand that the difference between both of these bikes and your hardtail will be night and day. The difference between these 2 bikes will be a much smaller difference, and you might not even tell.
