Today I bled my M6000 deore brakeset, and while reattaching the final bolt in the lever, I fully stripped the threads on the lever body.
I can push-insert the M screw in a way that FEELS seated and allows the brakes to function, but I am concerned that my line could blow out in the middle of a descent.
My hunch is that I just need a new lever and this is not salvedgabe.
I have the classic problem of trying to get out this weekend – I have a family and my ride time is extremely limited. I am extremely motivated to get this bike safe in the next 48hrs if possible but I understand that this may be a "no".
Is there any clever way to cut new threads, or devise a press-fit scheme?
Is there anything you'd advise to help keep a fellow rider spinning?

New lever.
Hydraulic lines for brakes are not worth bodging. Unless you really want to give money to your dentist.
Edit to add: make friends with your LBS. They may be able to help you out with a lever today instead of waiting on an internet vendor.
M screw you mean the drain screw you point at?
Im not mechanic but as far as i know from bleeding experience brakes work even without the screw just its not practical since its like to have an open bottle of water around.
But safety first if you have any doubts take it to an lbs and postpone the ride. Your health and family is top priority and In a week your bike will be ready.
You may be able to salvage things with a helicoil and for a few $$ could be worth a punt before writing it off. You may also able to get just the body as a spare part and rebuild, but these things seem to end up costing nearly as much as a replacement.
the reservoir isn’t pressurized, you can retap it or helicoil it but if you’re stripping reservoir threads these techniques are probably beyond your ability and you should really let someone else replace the lever, it’s really just a lid. but ask yourself, how did you strip it?? did it go in sideways or did you over torque? either way those are things you should know to avoid doing.
Oi I had something similar with my GRX 810 brake leaver. I found a video online where someone cut a M7 threat into an alloy tube – later he cut it He drilled up the hole and glued the tube into the body with epoxy resin.
The video has been created by the ‘aussi bike dude’ who also made videos of his own wax. Please check the threading before or just buy it new.

Personally, I would just sand around the reservoir screw down to bare metal, cover it with some JB Weld steel stick, go on my planned weekend ride, then replace it when the new lever arrives.
It’s not pressurized there so all you have to do is make sure it doesn’t leak until the replacement arrives.
I have also seen someone put an O-ring around a slightly larger screw and torque it in, that part of the lever is a soft alloy so the slightly larger screw will basically tap its own threads as it’s forced in. This is a temporary measure as well, not something intended to be removed.
