does it look like the cable head is stuck? the shifter won't downshift it goes in half a inch and doesn't depress further while the upshift keeps indexing but nothing happens.
how would I also fix this. bike has integrated cables. undo the tension from the rear deraileur and try push it while I wedge something to pull it out? thanks

What was it like before this? Working fine?
You might be able to seat the cable head by pulling more cable, or the cable may be damaged or frayed, or misrouted, in which case you’ll have to pull it out at the shifter. If so, shift to the smallest cog position and grab the head with needle-nose pliers. Pull, but don’t yank.
