I have gone through and checked everything I can think of and this rattle still persists. Is it possibly the design of the new motor? I know it makes sounds when rolling backwards and moving the chain up near the guide. Any insight would be amazing!

I had a similar noise on my Levo SL that turned out to be cable rattle. It was coming from the short (maybe 4″) run between the head tube cable entry ports and the internal cable routing hole that is located under the TCU. I took the fork off and wedged in a piece of packing foam just in front of the TCU which fixed it for me. I may change that over to some regular foam dampening hose, but for now it is quiet and working well.
Also worth mentioning, the rattle only comes from forward forces, no rattle when pedaling on smooth surfaces or pushing through suspension.
Sounds like cables to me
