Im in middle of a dilemma, i have save some amount for an upgrade for my bike.
Which should i pick? Fox 38 fork or gx transmission?
I’m currently running a zeb ultimate (which i still cant figure out the best psi, i find the zeb to be stiff) and a sram gx 12s.

Each to their own but can’t get much better than that in my book! Do you have a digi gauge? The air chamber in the Zeb is sensitive to the tiniest of increments in air pressure.
Will do, or Maybe i’ll ask around and see if i can borrow and test out with digi pump.

If i can tune my zeb, i’ll definitely go with gx upgrade.
I would maybe try some volume tokens and less psi first! Also, if you haven’t gotten your suspension serviced in a while that does wonders
Honestly, the gx transmission doesn’t feel like much of an upgrade over the previous axs. I’ve been underwhelmed.
I would think given your setup, a fox fork would be a much bigger upgrade than a fancier 12 speed drivetrain. I suppose a lot depends on personal preference and how worn things are on your bike but just based on what little info we have, I’d go with the fork.
The best upgrade for your Zeb Ultimate is a Vorsprung Smashpot.
drivetrain & Fork are fine IMO.
I would invest in new tires.
