Then you don’t know enough to be trying to install a brake cable. If you can post here, you can google “how to install side pull brake”, which you should’ve done before starting.

FWIW, the adjuster is the knurled object the white tube is shoved into. The thing you haven’t attached the cable to is called a clamp. You will find it, if you have one, at the end of the wiggly bit that says Shimano 600 on it.
