My spoke snapped out of the spoke nipple with some threads while I was pulling my rear tire off. I hadn't ridden in a few days and really haven't ridden any decent miles this summer. Any idea why? I had no pressure on the wheel and I wasn't using that spoke for the tire levers.
I pulled my rear wheel off this morning to 1) remove the built up sealant boogers that caused an imbalance (see Pic 3) and 2) reset the tire on the rim since it always had a wobble to it (rim is true, shop and zip tie test). The spoke actually had some threads still and I can lightly twist it back on.
This is my first pulling the tire off since I installed it a while ago. Lesson learned, that's a lot of sealant booger.

Adding, it’s a Synchros wheel off a 2021 Scott Scale 940.
The air pressure from the tire pushes the rim a bit inwards towards the hub and lowers spoke tension. You can measure this with a tensiometer. Maybe that spoke was on its last legs and when the tire was deflated it gave out?
