I’m a big fan of Magicshine lights and I’m looking to get something for my new P-line.
Magicshine now sells a full kit with mounting hardware and a bell-style remote for $120 after coupons: https://magicshine.com/products/vtg-1000-folding-bike-light?srsltid=AfmBOopgGbxNWn0O61MLEfxgAEEPLL0CZxLig1fNTtg6z0szK_QES3Fv
On the other hand, I could get a similar feature set with higher lumens (still has cutoff beam) and more battery, eg a kit with the Hori 1300 for $75 with coupons: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0FH29WN33/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2QD7ML3JRXLHD&psc=1
Would still need a $20 mounting bracket for the front light
Any opinions on the VTG 1000 kit? How does it compare to other lights?

I just got the hori 1300 magicshine from Amazon (on sale for $55 at the time) for mine. I did have to buy another bracket from AliExpress to mount it over the brake caliper, but that was just $5 for an aluminum one. I plan to buy a seemee 200 or 300 for my rear light whenever they go on sale again for cheap (probably prime day). I was seriously considering the vtg 1000 kit, but the hori 1300 and a seemee on the rear offer way better and brighter lighting for a lot cheaper than the vtg option without any sacrifices really
