I got one of those high beams/low beam headlights with the remote on Ali and wasn’t expecting much since it was like $30. Holy crap this thing rocks! Honestly it opens a whole door for me because I can ride this right near my house before/after work and it’s just a nice easy 10 mi loop. Stoked!

2 things:
1. Lights are one of those things for which going cheap Chinese makes perfect sense. My Magicshine and other cheap Chinese lights have outlasted my Nightriders at a quarter of the cost.
2. If you have only one light, it should be on your helmet, not your bars. You want to be able to look ahead around turns, mounting them on bars means the light is only pointing where the bike is already pointed, not to where you’re going to be. This is especially important on singletrack.

Nice! I have the battery bank version of this light. I pair it with a helmet light for light as bright as two neutron stars colliding.
