  1. hit it with the hose and then spray the hell out of the chain with lube and go for a ride to air dry it

  2. Degrease chain by applying degreaser to drivetrain. Warm water spray onto drive train so the degreaser works its magic, hit the brush on the drivetrain.

Spray entire bike down with water, every nook and cranny. Microfiber towel with bike cleaner on the bike.
    Spray down bike again.

Compressed air on the bike to dry, let sit for awhile somewhere dry to re-lube.

  3. I spray degreaser on the cassette, chain, chainring, derailleurs, and the rest. Let that soak for a minute and get a brush on the cassette and chain.

Knock it all off with my pressure washer at its lowest pressure.

Wheels off the bike, clean those with soapy water and a sponge. Do the same with the frame. Rinse everything off with the pressure washer.

Dry with a towel. Set the bike in front of the fan I use for Zwifting, so everything dries out.

People will tell you not to use a pressure washer. I agree, but I also look after my bike, and keep up with service/lubrication.

    Mine never gets dirty.

Waxed chains, occasional wipe down if it gets dusty or a little grubby, and have another bike (that isn’t white) for anything other than drizzle.

For your poor Aeroad – hose down to start (avoid directly at bearings), degrease the chain, cassette and crankset, use a light brush to get rid of the grime on the frame and wheels with some hot water and soap (Fairy does the job), rinse and make sure you dry the entire bike otherwise rust will rear its head.
