Hi, this evening I'm going to test ride this 2019 Cannondale Synapse. The price is 1250 € without the aero bars.
It's a carbon frame, with Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes, 105 groupset, Ultegra cassette and Aluminium RS wheels.
The guy says he put a new Ultegra chain on it.
What do you think? Is this a good deal ?

I think I would ! Disc brakes give you plenty of lifetime / wheel options (it’s the main trend now), mechanical 105 is an absolute sweet spot, and you get that beautiful classic cannondale shape.
Not aero though, so if your thing is let’s say triathlons (aero bars?), might not be the best, but otherwise for that price seems like a good deal
I think it is a bit on the high side especially given the cheap wheels. Also check the frame for paint chips and damages. There seems to be sth on the drive side seat stay. Also check behind the crankset for carbon damage that happens when the chain gets dropped.
