I do recommend 2nd hand ortileb that cost more or less the same

Biked across Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan and Japan with these. Not a hole in them. Still use them

I’ve got them in grey and they are fantastic. I’m super impressed with the quality of the bags and can’t believe I got them both for £54.

I bought and used them on a 1 week bike trip. I have also ortliebs. So first things first: Quality is great for that price in my opinion. So the Bags itself had no defects except that one of the rubber bands (the things in front) ripped of. We used them to put some shoes in there.
Only downside for me was the way you need to connect them to the bike. The upper parts work like for the ortliebs. No issues here. But the bottom part is, especially compared to Ortlieb, a bit more tricky to connect. But, on bike trips you make that twice a day probably.
All in all from my perspective: Solid “low” to medium budget bags. And if Ortliebs are to expensive, e.g. compared to the usecase, this is a quite good alternative. I had lower expectations for that price. They really suprised me.

Ordered the pair, only one arrived. It seemed pretty standard quality, not particularly hard wearing. Ended up having to send it back and didnt bother re-ordeeing.
Probably worth the money, but I ultimately went for a new pair of ortileb – ability to replace parts, warranty, and overall status as go-to panniers won me over. I can see why they’re held in such high regard.

Have a look at Lumos. More decent budget panniers.
