  1. Nice! It can be saved. Shame it was stored like that. Immediate fixes: New chain, cassette, and cable and housing(don’t skimp on this cable and housing is cheap). Bleed the brakes and replace the pads and rotors. Minum a lower leg service with new seals for the fork, but those CTD forks have a rubber bladder in the damper and probably should have fox do a full rebuild. The damper could have damage from sitting outside. Rear shock air sleeve service at a minimum. If it’s making a sucking squishing sound it’ll need a full service. Evaluate the tires for dry rot. Have the suspension pivots checked for rust and play. This is a nice bike, but sadly leaving like this exposed to the elements is a costly mistake. Still not the price of a new bike. If you’re handy the drivetrain and brake pads/bleed is easy to do yourself. Suspension the lower leg service is simple but I wouldn’t attempt the full service yourself.

  2. What kind of riding are you getting into? Just basic trails, clean this thing up and send it. Enduro/DH? Replace it.

  3. Probably take a few hundred to get it up and running right but it’s a fine bike to start out and go rip some trails. Go through the drivetrain/brakes, pull everything apart, clean and regrease. Probably need to send the fork off or figure out what travel that is and stick a used or NTO RYTHYM or something on there if you don’t want to mess with that. I would guess the tires are probably dry rotted too.
