#Deliveroo #UberEats #FoodDelivery #GigWork #BikeVlog #Cambridge

I watch all of your videos. Get out the way. You ordered a Pepes and you work at KFC. That’s so funny. We’re missing a burrito. You’re missing a burrito? Yeah. Oh no. Cambridge delivers, guys. Let’s freaking go. Which is better, Uber Eats or Deliveroo for delivering food? We’re going to find out today. We are going to do a small sample size of three orders from each app. I’m kind of back and forth between both of them on different reasons. We’re going to talk about the main reason, which is the money. Of course, the more money, the more likely you’re going to work for that app. But then there’s also a lot of subcategories such as way the actual app works like uh when you pick up the orders when you drop them off as well as maybe customer support and uh tips. There’s a few different subcategories there. Obviously, if you wanted more extensive research, you could do way more orders and then compare them and it would probably be more of a fair test. But I think three of each is perfect for this video. So, we’re going to go online now, guys. If we can get like two singles and then a double on each one, that would be that would be ideal. But, you know, I’m not in any rush. It’s currently 4:00. We’re in Cambridge. We happy. We chilling. I hope you guys have a good day. Hey, drop a like if you like this video idea. Little comparison. All right, we just got one pop in there. ยฃ6.76. Two orders. Did they update delivery? Cuz it says 3.1 mi. I don’t remember ever saying the miles before. 3.1 mi. 6.76. Two restaurant pickup. Let’s do it. Let’s go. 3.1 miles and 0.5 mi is going to the restaurant. All right, so this is looking like a good order so far. We’re in Parker’s Peace, guys. Oh my god. Where’s the wheel? I haven’t been here in 2 weeks, guys. Where’s the wheel? What’s happened to the wheel? They take it down in winter time. Football over here. All right, see you guys when we get to the restaurant. Come on in. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go. Never gets old here, guys. Never gets old. All right. What are we talking? Pick it up from here first. Hello, guys. Where do I sign in? Oh, right there. Welcome to the restaurant, Ryan. One negative of deliver signing in. Uh, is that one ready? 1 957. Oh, amazing. Thank you. And you have to scan every time you pick up for delivery. Thanks, guys. Have a good day. 2 minute bike. 0.4 miles. Oh my god. So, the pickups on delivery are always you have to scan the item, which is kind of like a shame cuz you don’t really want that every single time. Like, you’ll see in a bit that Uber Eats is just so much more easy. Where the hell did I put my bike? All right, let’s get to the gig in the squid. You know me. Let’s go. I do deliver and I see I see a lot of your videos as well. Pleasure. Thank you so much. United. Yeah. Did you see this? Have a good day. All right. 3 minutes away. Let’s go pick this up. United shirt, guys. I’m wearing a United shirt. Giving it away. Apparently, it’s a bike path. I don’t think it is. So, I’m going to just edge on the side of caution with this one. I think slowly does it. This is indeed not a bike path. I’m on the wrong route. Wearing the iconic Manchester United shirt today, guys. In the Cambridge vibes for the Manchester United. You know how it is. Let’s freaking go. Now I’m on the road. I can bike. Let’s go. But I can lock my bike up right here. Right. Yay. Maybe to the pole for a second, dude. All right. Oh, is it not this door? How do I get in? It’s locked. Am I being dumb? Seems locked to me. Compar. Last time I came, this door was open. Um, I don’t know. I’ll go around the front then, I guess. Hello. Uh, the back door’s locked. a show. Well, I tried to open it and I couldn’t and I’m very strong. So, sure. Don’t worry, I’ll open it. Thanks. Going to open it. Let’s go. Thank you. No worry. I mean, lads. All right. What we talking? Two items. Some giggling pai and some mass money. Okay. Nice. Hello. You right. Uh, is anyone picking up orders? Yeah. Amazing. Thank you so much. Have a good day. Thank you. You, too. Okay. Nice. All right. So, two pickups done there. Took a lot longer than I would have liked, but that wasn’t specifically because of delivery. That was just because I was being dumb. We got that. What a nice bag that is as well. Oh my god. So lovely. All right, we’re going to drop these bad boys off. I don’t know how far it’s going to be, but it said it was going to be maximum of like 3 mi. So, okay, first customer 14minute bike, 2.7 mi already. Deliver is capping on the distance cuz it said 3.1 mi and I’ve already gone over a mile. So, nice one delivery, minus points, plus points for that packaging for the restaurant. Damn, son. That’s so good. Nice one. Beautiful Cambridge. Ah, guys, have a good day. Let’s go. We got Uber Eats versus Deliveroo. We’re going to decide which one takes us to the L. Deliveroo pays more, but it has many floors. Uber Eats give special treats, but not so much currency. I miss Cambridge when I’m not here. It’s such a lovely place. Like, it’s so peaceful and like Whoa, what is this here? Is that hotel? I was in Luton last video, guys. And to go from Luton to this place felt like I just stepped off like a sailboat onto the Titanic like the cities in England. It’s night and day. It’s black and white. Gray and green. Gray and green. Exactly. After this as well, I have like another what like 1 mile or something. So Deliveroo lied about the distance. I’m not sure what that distance was referring to because it definitely wasn’t referring to the whole distance of me going to the restaurants, me going to the customers cuz already it’s over 4 miles and it said 3.1. See you when we’re there. Just a quick point on uh Deliveroo. the app system like this map is just completely useless. But if I’m comparing it to Google Maps, it’s about the same usefulness. Uh it’s not it’s not as clear as the Uber Eats map in my opinion. Like when you’re getting really near to the customer, I can see where I’m going. Like I know where I’m going. I go down here, but it’s just not as clear. Like it’s it’s a bit like if there was a bunch of roads then it would be unclear. Have a ride. I think I need to scan it as well. Oh, you bet you have to scan it. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of positives about delivery, but negatives are definitely this system. Like the scanning stuff. Like I know it’s to make sure you don’t give away the wrong one, but at the same time like like how often does that happen? How often are you going to give away the wrong one? Okay. All right. I need the two-digit PIN alongside also scanning it. Like there’s so much security involved. Doesn’t matter that much, but it’s just like small little inconveniences like this. Hello, buddy. Have you got the two-digit PIN? 53. 53. Thank you so much. Have a good day. Thank you. Thank you guys. Bye. Okay, cool. All right, so that one’s done. Now we just need to drop off the other one. Feels like I’m just kind of slacking off delivery and I’m not at all. Like delivery is much better when it comes to payment normally, but there’s just things that we’ve deliver that in my like almost month now of having delivery that not a big fan of another 0.8 mi. So this is turning into a over a 5 mileer and it said on the app 3.1 mi. I’m not sure what it was referring to with the 3.1 mi, but you know, let’s freaking go. So far I just keep coming across things that remind me of the negatives of Deliveroo, but there’s there’s positives as well. Of course, a cool thing about Deliveroo is after you do the first package or if it’s just a single package, normally you don’t have to scan it again, which is good. Hello. Hi. You’re right. Have you got the two-digit pin? 34. 34. Thank you so much. Enjoy your day. 34. Confirm delivery. Read this delivery. Nice. Okay, cool. Two deliveries with Deliveroo down. Just a small thing that I don’t like with the Deliveroo app that I do like with Uber Eats is you can’t just like click on places and go there. Like there’s no option to click on a place. All right, we’ve got Nando’s four miles. Realistically, it’s not going to be four miles. Like where is the drop off? I’m picking up there and I’m dropping off there. That is no way for miles. It’s all the way in Houston. No, I’m not doing that one. Like I was saying, I have to go back onto the map and I have to type in a place that I want to go. It’s not that bad. It doesn’t make that much of a difference. Just like small inconveniences like that, though. The app’s just not as good as an experience, but it’s okay. Oh, got another one as well. 4.7 mi. Christ, even further. It’s back in the exact same place. I don’t want to go there. That’s so far out of the center of Cambridge. I just Oh, sorry. I don’t know why I whispered then. Does this open this way? Hey, let’s go. I’m going to hold it open. Thank you, mate. You’re welcome. You’re welcome. Okay. Nice. Okay, cool. All right, so I’m just going to go back into the center area and we’re going to get another one. Uh, a smaller one, hopefully. See you in a sec. Couple of cows chilling out. Someone said that they got rammed by these cows ones. These cows are the most peaceful things ever. There’s no way you’re getting rammed by those cows. And if you did, what did you do to annoy them? All right, there we go. 19 minutes. Perry Perry. Perfect. Pick it up. Cheek a little Uber Eats. We getting it. Okay, nice. We’re going straight from delivery to Uber Eats. Let’s go. The thing that I like about the Uber Eats app is it says exactly how long it’s going to take you to do the order. And that includes going to the restaurant, going to the customer. That’s like a number one feature of accepting orders, like how long it’s going to take you. Deliveroo just saying, “Yeah, 3.8 miles or whatever.” Like you can’t trust that because like you just saw with the previous order, it was over 5 miles and it says 3.1. So like it’s it’s not right. Like that’s not fair. So like it said 17 minutes. Let’s see how long this order takes. It It does look like I’m very very on the side of Uber Eats, but it’s not always like that. It’s not always like that. There are some good things about delivery that we’ll talk about during this order. Let’s go pick it up first, though. All right, back into the center of Cambridge. Pretty pretty pretty. Pick it up from Perry Perry Chicken as well, just on the edge here. Oh, I got another got a double from Perry Perry as well. Yeah, I got to lock up the bike. Look at the lockups. As if you can just lock up your bike and it just falls over like that. People pushing it over and it’s right here. I don’t see it. Am I blind? I don’t see no Perry Perry chicken. Where is it? Am I losing my mind? Where’s Pepe’s? Oh, it’s just 3 minutes away. What? I’ve been scammed by Google Maps. What a waste of time. Oh no, it’s cuz I mapped it to Wendy’s. Oh, I’m so stupid. It’s only 2 minutes away though, but I’m an idiot. That’s not Google Maps’ fault for once. That’s me. Okay, we’re actually at Pepes this time. Let’s go. Okay, so going back on the app now. Uber Eats pickup. Hello guys. Uh, I got two orders to pick up. I got Okay, just take this one. Yeah, that one in the bag. No scanning. Verify. Verify. Verify. Amazing. Thank you, buddy. Great. Thank you. All right. Thanks guys. Have a good day. Okay, nice. And then you do complete pickup and then that’s pretty much it. No scanning anything. Bit awkward across the road. That’s the only thing right now. Okay, cool. Now we’re talking. So 3 minutes to the first one. 3 minutes. Amazing. That’s what you want. It said about 17 minutes for this first order, but the first order is going to be done way before 17 minutes. I’m going to be finished even quicker than it said it would be, I’d imagine. Let’s talk about one of the subcategories, tips. With Uber Eats, you can’t get tip before you deliver. you have to deliver it and then afterwards they decide if they want to tip you. So you got one chance at a tip. With Deliveroo it works slightly different. You can be tipped before you even turn up. So like you can get the order and there’s already a tip applied to it. And also they can tip afterwards as well. So you got two chances at a tip. And in my experience, I’ve received a lot more like tips per order on Deliveroo than I have Uber Eats. Oh crap, I can’t turn right here. That’s a nice Porsche. But yeah, tips definitely more common on delivery in my experience. But it’s just a different system. I think I prefer the delivery one because you’re more likely going to get tips even if you’re like the worst deliverer ever because it’s just applied to the order which is cool. So, there’s a pro there for delivery. All right, dropping this one off. Let’s go. Let’s see how the drop off process is with Uber Eats. It sounds like I like Uber Eats more and I do I like the app more but obviously I like the money more in Deliveroo cuz realistically if Deliveroo pays more, you’re going to you’re going to work with them a you. But then Deliveroo are very deceiving with their offers and things like not always what it seems. Like ยฃ4 could be like a 20-minute journey and ยฃ4 could also be like a 10-minute journey. Like the offers are really weird. Whereas with Uber Eats, you kind of know what you’re going to get. If it says 17 minutes, it’s going to be 17 minutes. Apparently, I’m dropping off like right here. This is confusing. Where the hell is the person inside the KFC? That’s the instruction. Inside the KFC. Don’t worry. Even if I’m just going inside the KFC for a second. Always lock your bike, dude. Pin required when there’s two. Me and the door. That’s a funny delivery. [Music] Hello. I called the person, they didn’t respond. I guess we’re going to find out how the customer service is in a second. I’m going to ring her again. I don’t really understand what’s going on here. What a weird order this is. Call is being recorded. Good. Hello. 0231. You Oh, you pick it up. Yeah. You ordered a Pepes and you work at KFC? That’s so funny. Is it for a Naja? Yes, please. What’s the EP? Uh 0231. 023. You should have came over. I was just standing there. Oh, that’s funny. Kind of betraying your restaurant a little bit. There you go, buddy. Thank you very much. All right. Have a good day. Okay, having a good shift. I don’t know why I find that so funny. That wasn’t the cleanest drop off. I’m not going to lie. All I had to do is enter the pin and then that was it. And now we got the last one. 5 minutes away. Yeah, this has been like probably less than 17 minutes to be fair. I wasted a little bit of time there. Got to be careful. Phone snatches, guys. Don’t leave my phone like that. Christ, what am I doing? It’s Cambridge. Nobody snatches phones. Yes, they do. Probably less common than London, though, I guess. 5 minutes away. Let’s drop this bad boy off. Cambridge. Cambridge. Cambridge. You’re one taxi. You’re slowing me down, brother. I’ll tell you what, it never gets Let’s go. I’m not really sure about the customer service on either of the apps cuz I’ve only ever tried to contact them once and both times I was put in a waiting list to talk to someone. Like I know when you do a certain amount of orders on Uber Eats, you get like the premium service. Why don’t just get that anyway? Uh so I don’t know if you guys have access to these different services, maybe there’s one with Deliver as well, but but it’s definitely an interesting subcategory in terms of importance. If you got a problem, you want it sorted out, don’t you? And who’s going to sort out that problem better, Deliver or Uber Eats? I don’t know. King’s College, you’re pretty or just trying to give like my honest opinion on both of the apps so far that I’ve used. Obviously, people have used it a lot longer than me, so you know a lot more. But in like the three months that I’ve been doing this, this is kind of my experiences and what I’ve uncovered. You guys have different takes on it, different opinions, and I welcome you to leave some comments. So, it helps us get a more well-rounded opinion on the apps so people can make a decision if they wanted to work with a specific one. Bunting. Steven Bunting goes, I know it’s punting. Relax. All right, 3 minutes away. Let’s go. It says there’s a small blue gate. I’m going to message and say I think I’m here. Hello, sir. Not me. Are you picking up food? God damn it. Don’t you dare. Don’t you go. What What team are we? Uh, what team do you support? If you’re saying it’s a shame about the shirt, just cuz I don’t support a team doesn’t mean I can have an opinion. Okay, fair enough. And you got drinks as well, buddy. There you go. They just smacked them in a bag for you. There you go. Thanks a lot, mate. You’re welcome. Have a good day. Complete delivery. No pins. It’s a shame about the shirt, but Broki doesn’t even support a team. Come on now. That was a pretty clean. That was ยฃ52 that paid. And it took Okay, that took 32 minutes because of my delays. ยฃ3.5 from Boots. ID check. Ooh. Okay, nice. Let’s do it. That’s pretty serious stuff. An ID check. Or is it this way? I haven’t actually done an ID check yet, guys. What do I do? Just I just have to check their ID. I have to enter their date of birth. I don’t know what I have to do, but let’s let’s not do anything wrong. Let’s not get banned from the app while I’m trying to discover which app is better. Also, we’re at the backs at the moment. I mean, to walk around there. It cost ยฃ16. I It’s very pretty, but that’s pretty that’s pretty nice. All right, let’s go. Okay, picking up this uh deliveroo now. Oh, wow. Picking up 10 items. Criy thing. Age restricted. The sword intuition eyebrow razor. So, sorry to bother you guys. Where do I pick up order? At the front, obviously all the way over there. Thanks. Not much. Cheers. They were very friendly. Hello. You’re right. Pick it up a delivery 2180. Thank you. Oh, amazing. Thank you so much. Is that going to scan? Take a picture. That’s another tiny thing about the apps and the orders that you accept. On Uber Eats, you have the option if you want to do ID ones. You can opt out of it. Like I’ve never done an ID check one on Uber Eats. On Deliveroo, you don’t really have a choice. It just puts you in there with the rest of them. And you can obviously decline the orders. But with Uber Eats, you know, you’re never going to accept one. Like even accidentally if you’re not paying attention. Where did I park my bike? Okay, I’m going to message them now and just say, “I’m on my way. If you could get your ID ready because I need an ID check for this one.” And then hopefully they’ll have their ID ready, but they might not. That’s okay. And then I’m in the way now. All right. All right. See you when we’re there. Let’s go. Hello. Are you okay? Have you got ID with you? Thank you so much. Uh I think I need to enter birthday. What was your birthday? Thank you so much for that. I appreciate that. Amazing. and the two-digit code as well. 60. Yeah. 6 6. Thank you so much. Amazing. Let’s go. Thank you for being prepared for that. I appreciate that. There you go. Enjoy the rest of your day. Thank you so much, mate. 22 minutes, Gregs. Yeah. Go. Why not? Oh, it’s up here. Let’s go. It’s at the train station. I like the train station pickups. You want to say hello? Oh, okay. Lovely to meet you. What’s your name? Max. Nice to meet you, Max. People cycling next to me. That’s cool. Lovely to meet you, Max. Against the posted. You get fined by parking against these posts. Surely not. Right. Too thick. It might be too thick. Thick ass post. Oh, I just made it. Look at that. Oh, this lock is good, dude. A chicken pizza box, two mozzarella cheddar bites. More items than usual. It doesn’t seem that bad. All you have to do is click verify. I don’t think the order is going to be ready yet. Getting loads of uh orders coming through, but I don’t really want anymore. I’m going to have to stop new requests. I just want to do this one. Hello, sir. Is that my one there, G? Yes, indeed. Let’s go. exactly you think I can actually do it somewhere. Ah. Oh, well, you made it pretty quick. Good job. Amazing. Thank you so much, sir. Good job. Big pick up like a pizza. How long we got? 12. Oh, 12 minutes. Wow. It’s really good. He said 22 minutes, but like a 3minut bike here. Now it’s 12 minutes. So, that’s only 15 minutes. So, Uber Eats is Uber Eats has done me good there. I think I got I got I got pretty lucky with that. It’s like the opposite of what delivery did to me earlier. Oh, Christ. This is super tight, though. It’s nice. making this comparison, but we know he likes Uber more. One day he’ll open his eyes and see Uber pays poor. Then he’ll be knocking on deliver door. [Music] They’re pretty much the same. The only thing is scanning the order, which is lame. Dipping this bad boy off. Do we need anything? Do we need any pins or anything? Nothing. Here we go. There you go. Thanks a lot. You’re welcome. Have a good day. Sorry if it’s a little bit flat at the top. Have a good night. Apologies. Have a good night. All right, let’s go back online. Go back online on Deliveroo as well. We’re looking for one more from each of them. Apparently, it’s busy on Deliveroo and it’s busy on Uber Eats. Pretty cool. Pretty cool. Oh my god. Jesus. I don’t want to do another double. I want to do like a maximum 20-minute bike. I don’t want to do another like 38 minute bike. Like, come on. It says 2 miles as well, and we know it’s not 2 miles. Don’t you lie to me. Come on. But yeah, guys, thanks so much for Oh, 26 minutes. No, no, I’m not doing Oh my god, there’s so many. Can’t believe how many are rejected, dude. I just want a single I just want single orders like Shake Shack. ยฃ4. Let’s go Uber Eats. I can’t believe how busy it is with these apps, guys. It’s so busy. All right, let’s go offline. ยฃ4 8 minutes away. That’s perfect. 20 minutes and the first seven minutes of this is going to the place. That’s so cool. I don’t want another one, please. Thank you. Make this my last. I’ve said this before, but deliver is like the man app. Deliver is like, here’s some money. Get to the place. You might have some issues with codes and scanning and stuff, but go on. Go on. That’s like Deliveroo. And Uber Eats is more we trust you to give the right orders. Don’t even worry. Don’t worry about entering codes. You You can do it right. I believe in you. Like that sort of vibe. Okay. Nice. All right. We’re 6 minutes away from this one. Let’s go drop this off and then we got one more delivery, then we should be good. 3 minutes away. I think Cambridge might be my favorite city in the UK, guys. I really like Bath. I like Brighton as well. Brighton’s really cool. Okay, let’s go pick this up. Let’s go. Ah, we always have to come down this avenue, though, don’t we? Let’s go. Let’s Let’s reverse my bike in. Picking up the Shake Shack, guys. Let’s do it. We’re on Uber Eats, so there’s no need to scan anything. I always think that I’m going to lock the other person’s bike to mine. News about a motorbike, guys. Very soon. Potentially, I might have a motorbike coming my way. I need to do the CBT test first, though. But hopefully, we can get that done. Hello. You’re right. Picking up for Lex 8F. Strawberry shake, smoked shake, hot dog. Nice. Oh, it’s in a box. Perfect. Amazing. Wow. That nice and secure in there. Thanks a lot. Have a good day. Nice. Cool. That was super easy, wasn’t it? There’s like three drinks and they’re just in like a little box. It must be the most well secured thing ever. And it’s 7 minutes away, guys. It’s even less time again than it said it was going to be. This is a 14minute trip. 7 minutes to get here, 1 minute to pick up, 7 minutes to get back, 15 minutes. And it said on the thing 20 minutes. Wait, where am I going? Am I going the wrong way? I go this way. All right, let’s have a look on the maps before it takes me the complete wrong way. Got to consider what you want from a delivery app. Like my perspective on this is going to be different to people that aren’t making content. You need to right channel name. Uh what’s my channel name? Li. Yeah, nice to meet you. What’s your name? Le. Lewis. Nice to meet you, Louis. Oh, we connected. Have a good day. Thank you. He caught me mid spiel and I missed my turn. Yeah, you got to decide what you guys want from the app. So, for me, making content on YouTube, like it’s a lot easier on Uber Eatats, to be honest. Like, it’s so much easier. Uh like the codes and the scanning and stuff like it just not a big problem, but it adds on to time quite a lot. Like, it’s not that big of a deal. Uh making a bit more of a deal about it than it is, but just personally from my perspective, it’s definitely easier on Uber Eats. But then every shift that I do, I definitely earn more money from Deliveroo. So, there’s that. I’m going right down there. Sorry. Sorry. All right. We’re going to sting over there, drop this off, and then we’ve got one more delivery to do. If you guys have any points that you can think of that you can raise in the comments, please do. I want this to be like a bit of a discussion cuz I too have my opinions, but I want to know what your opinions are cuz your opinions matter like beyond mine cuz we all do it for different reasons, right? Obviously, money is going to be the main reason, but also back there, I asked that dude to to say my name Walter White style. You guys made the comment of that before. The Walter White say my name. I asked him to say my name because sometimes people just uh know it’s a camera and they’ll automatically say like, “Oh, you make YouTube videos, but like they don’t actually know who you are.” Like I’ve seen that a bunch of times before. I’ve seen that so many times on YouTube videos that I just don’t just don’t believe that maybe they actually know who they are. They’re just like, “Oh, you make YouTube videos, don’t you?” Just cuz you got camera. Like 50/50 chance of saying yes. I could just say no. They’ll be like, “Oh, okay.” But when they say your name, it’s like, “Okay, they actually do know who you are. That’s cool.” Hello, buddy. Thanks for meeting me at the door. That’s so helpful. Uh, do you have the pin? Yeah. 6 uh 734. 6734. Thank you so much. Amazing. Look at this packaging. That’s like such good packaging for a drink place, isn’t it? Yeah. Hopefully drinking it this time. Hopefully there’s not spilled or anything. Yeah. Thank you, man. You’re welcome. No worries. Have a good evening. If it’s spilled, though, which it shouldn’t be cuz I barely went up a bump. You could just get a refund anyway. That’s kind of the good thing about food delivery apps. All right, we’re done with Uber Eats, guys. We’re on ยฃ1347 on Uber Eats. We’re going to go back on Deliveroo for one final order. We’ve done three on Uber Eats. Now, we want one more on delivery, and we can do a little comparison chart at the end. I’m going to add up all the amounts, and we’re going to work out how much money we earn per amount of time. All right, see you guys when we get one final delivery. Oh my god, I got a triple from Popeye’s. I’ve rejected 16, guys. I’ve rejected 60. Am I going to get banned from delivery? What’s going on? I just want one single. I just want Can I Is there a setting one single order? I don’t want triple orders. That’s cool, though. I’m so happy to like go out. I don’t know where I’m picking up from. Apparently, it’s right here. Apparently, it’s inside Boots. Boots. Hello, guys. Uh, picking up. Oh, we need a scan in. Where’s the uh sign in thing? Thank you. I do. I saw your video. You saw my videos? No way. Let’s go. 9326, guys. I was ready. Oh, perfect. That’s what you want to see. Thank you so much. It’s been good. I’ve been doing like a comparison between Deliveroo and Uber Eats. Deliveroo is way better for money. Definitely way better for money. But uh the Uber Eatats app just has a special place in my heart for some reason. I don’t know why. It’s like so sensitive. I like it. It’s very nice. Thank you guys. Have a good day. Thank you. Stay safe. Stay safe. That’s the main thing. No way. You’ve got recognized. I have it. One day I’ll be a star. All right. Dropping off this last order. I’m on FaceTime to Romy at the moment, but we’re glitching out so I can’t really hear what she’s saying. Let’s go. I watch all of your videos. Get out the way. And you know, I just came here to study in Cambridge and the first thing I saw on YouTube was like Cambridge and then I found your videos and I love doing a great job, man. What’s your name? Bargo. Nice to meet you. Bar Ryan. Nice to meet you. Let’s go. Let’s go. Can I get a Let’s go for the video. Let’s go. Let’s go. Amazing. Have a good day, guys, mate. This is crazy. Okay, guys. I’m back. 2 minutes to do this order. We’re going to drop this off and then we’re going to debrief. Thank you, Tesla. You’re my dream car. Yeah. So nice, dude. Let’s go. What do I have to do? Just the two-digit code. Just the one package. Hello. Hi. Have you got the pin? Um, is it 82? Let’s find out if it’s 82. It is 82. Thank you so much. Have a good evening. We done three orders on both apps. Let’s summarize, shall we? Hello, buddy. I think we’re missing a burrito. You’re missing a burrito? Yeah. Oh, no. Um, I don’t know. I just gave you what they gave me. So, maybe ring the uh unless there’s something fell out my bag. No, there’s nothing else in here. You’re missing a burrito. Oh, no. If you message the people, they give you a refund. But um dude got scammed a burrito. Apologies. No problem at all. Dude is now thinking that I jacked his burrito. He was pretty laughy though. He didn’t really care that much. It’s a bit annoying though, isn’t it? You don’t get your burrito that you ordered. I swear I didn’t steal his burrito. All right, guys. Wrapping up the video now. Just about to get in my car and and drive back. So, based on the calculations that I did, Uber Eatats was way more money uh today, but I did get a 244 tip. Even with that tip, if I took that out, it was still more money than Deliveroo for the time taken for the order and the amount of money that it gave me. Uber Eats paid more today, which is surprising. It’s not normally like that. But I would say that Deliveroo like uh is very inaccurate when it says like 3.1 miles, 2.8. Like it’s never that like it wasn’t that at all. And with Uber Eats, it seems to overshoot it. Like all three orders that I had today overshot it by like 5 6 minutes. So it was 5 6 minutes less. Yeah, I don’t really know. Uber Eats is my favorite in terms of the apps. Delivery was normally more money. There was no incentives to days. Probably another subcategory, but I’m not going to go into that. Like 1.5 times plus one pound. Today’s video is just on like a day-to-day basis, like what it’s like. So yeah, I earned this much money, guys. Had a really fun time. If you’re wondering how my bike goes on my car, it’s like that. Shout out to the channel members as well. Thank you guys so much for being channel members. I appreciate it. Have a good day and see you guys soon. Bye.

  1. Hi new subscriber here! You popped up on my Youtube shorts and I started watching your video and couldn't stop laughing! Your energy, your personality and who you are truly shines through! The video where you were dressed as a hotdog had me in hysterics of laughter which was well needed given I'm going through a lot! I now have a favourite for this kind of thing as you are just hilarious! Thank you for always making me smile and laugh during some of my worst days and you never fail to crack me up so thank you!

  2. I love your videos man how long do you wait to receive orders and where can i get that phone holder on the bike so i can start doing deliveries you are my inspiration mate

  3. I usually accept double or triple orders, then reject the ones I don't want and just do the one I wanted, on Deliveroo. I very rarely do doubles and have never done a triple. I don't know if you can do that with Uber so I used to reject them all. But it looks like the app has changed since I did Uber. Uber used to tell you where the delivery was going before accepting, then they just told you how much and where to collect from so you didn't know how far it was going. So I only accepted minimum fee deliveries because I knew they wouldn't be far away.
The check-in tag on Deliveroo is a bit a nuisance.
The scanning is probably to avoid customers getting the wrong delivery (but it's not foolproof) and also to reduce the number of stolen orders. When I started Deliveroo I just took the bag and tapped my phone to say collected. Some took the food then rejected the delivery and scarpered with the loot.
Brighton is good for Deliveroo. You'd probably like York as well. I guess you should try the rival university city of Oxford too but I didn't have much luck when I tried Oxford. Plenty of deliveries but there were more riders than deliveries so I don't get much but Oxford is nice (and nearer to Milton Keynes than Cambridge)

  4. Uber eats does actually allow you to leave a tip as a customer when placing the order also if you have left a tip and u didnโ€™t get good service from the delivery person you can withdraw the tip

  5. As a rider
When it comes to age restricted items
If itโ€™s alcohol or tobacco products then Iโ€™ll check the ID no matter how old they look

But if itโ€™s something like a paracetamol or something like that then I wonโ€™t unless they absolutely look under 18

  6. Love your vlogs but how do you do the extras on your vlogs(videos) like putting the wheel on (parkers piece) and other stuff especially the singing bit too cheers

  7. Keeping my algorithm overlords happy by commenting again ๐Ÿ˜Š Another fun and exciting video, with more and more recognitions too, letโ€™s goooo! ๐Ÿ‘ Loved that lovely chunky ginger cat, off to scrounge some food from his owner ๐Ÿˆ ๐Ÿ˜‹ Head up north soon, Newcastle is cool ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  8. Uber eats' time estimate also includes the time waiting at the pickup. It's an estimate but that's also factored into the pay for the delivery.

  9. The Cambridge cows are such a highlight for me. I don't know why, I live in the south in the US I see cows on a daily basis but these are so 'free range' like they aren't fenced up or anything. Anyways, you get recognized so much and hearing Miss Romys reaction in the background was really cool! Another great video keep em coming!!

  10. The miles on deliveroo doesn't include the trip to restaurant, it only calculates from the restaurant to customer. Ubereats used to do the same back in 23/24

  11. as a new delivery person, i can say if you do this on a bike then hats off to you. i have done this on a bike too but omg, the payouts are shocking. if they expect me to cycle circa 5/6 miles for 7 quid then cycle back into town then whats the point! how do people actually make a living out of this? and then there is the randomness of the addresses too. final tip never pick up from supermarkets as well they take the mickey… i had to cycle 4.5 miles once with 48 cans of diet coke … yeah that was not fun in the pouring rain too

  12. I started working for ubereats as soon as it opened up in cambridge. It was technically my first job, they were paying like 15-20 quid per order to pull riders in haha, though you only got like 1 order every 2 hours since it just opened up. Good times, i stopped doing ubereats/deliveroo around late 2019 and sadly moved out from cambridge/UK in 2022. Feel nostalgic watching these now lol
