I *think* that the main BB is actually the OTHER side. So once you take that out, you should be able to take the rest of the broken piece out pretty easily. I think.

Well the BB is fucked, but this isn’t the end of the world if you were planning on replacing it anyway. Try taking the LH cup out, the BB should come out with that cup and then you can break this cup apart and pick it out.
If the other cup is metal but the splines are chewed up you can try to clamp a vice grip to the exposed rim and use that to spin it out. Or clamp it in a bench vice and spin the frame to remove.
