And today we’re at Riverside Country Park over near Gillingham in Medway Kent and going to have a nice little cycle around the edge of the marshes. This is a 100 hectare coastal haven that runs along the banks of the Medway Estie. There’s a lovely visitor center with toilets, cafe, and ample car parking that’s paying display. This is part of National Cycle Route One that’s shared with Saxon Shaw Way. It’s very well signposted. So, let’s go. The route is about 8.7 kilometers, or you can find your way further a field if you’re more adventurous to Rochester and Strude and beyond. You’ll find the odd shipwreck, the Odd Bird. So whether you’re after a peaceful family ride or a longer exploration of Kent’s roots or just a little dose of Riverside and nature, uh this park definitely has something for everybody. So check it out.
