I’ve been perusing CL for months to find a bike for my brother before he moves to my city. I came across this bad boy a few days ago listed at $350, offered $300 an hour after the listing went live and he accepted.
I’m kinda bummed, I want this for myself so bad. I’ve always wanted a CC, especially since they discontinued it, and this is in such a nice dark green that was only done in 2006.
XT groupset is great, very versatile. Wheels are hideous but he doesn’t really care. My hope is that he gets into cycling enough to upgrade a year from now and I can take this back and trick it out.

Such a good find. I got my Krampus off Craigslist for 500. Paint was stripped and it has a beautiful patina rusty look to it. It’s a tank and does not blend well with all the high end MTBs where I live.

That’s a rare color? I had no idea when I bought mine a few months ago. I paid $750 though, but it had a Chris King headset, that’s worth the extra $450 right?
