Throwback to when Paga sent shock waves through the cycling community just for a video. We’re going to start at the fivestar section, the Aaronburg. Look who just loves to be at the front. And Vanderpole is basically like, “Oh, wait. Yeah, I’m the king of the cobble. I got to be leading everybody through the Aaronburg.” Then there’s this weird moment where the team car almost takes Pagotaa out. I mean, it’s this man’s first Perry Rubé and he’s already trying to go solo with 70K left. Luckily, Vanderpole chases it down. The two of them are kind of looking around. Who’s that back there? Jasper Phillips. Pagotch is going to do everything in his power to try to not let it come down to a sprint. However, in his haste, he does this. Vanderpole keeps it up and capitalizes on the moment. Congrats to Matthew Vanderpole. But there’s always that what if if Pagotcha didn’t crash.
