Firstly, bought a shock that doesn't fit off Facebook marketplace and trying to salvage it

Have a specialized status 140 with the stock dpx2 shock, bought a super deluxe ultimate (B2 model I think- not the most recent version) and the lower eyelet has the big ole 30mm bearing that does not fit my linkage, which looks closer to 18mm

with some reading, looks like I can swap the damper body with the stanchion and everything to one with a standard eyelet that I think would fit my linkage.

the ones I'm finding are for the C1 model

would this just swap into the older model that I have and all will be well (obviously with the full damper bleed and such) or do I have to hunt down the older one?

  1. Sounds like you need shock mounting hardware for the new shock. Lost Co has a database you can look at to see what size hardware you need for the frame.
