No direct experience, but they are a legitimate (if niche) brand. They may have gone under, I don’t know.

They used to be popular among amateur triathletes. They had a pretty popular tri bike for a long time

  2. Legit. I own 3 of them (2 Norcross and 1 Chinook road šŸ™‚ All have been very fun to ride and have very much enjoyed them.

The Norcross used to be made in GA but I think moved overseas by 2014. My 2010 Norcross runs 38 gravel grinders (which are great tires) and maybe could fit 40’s depending on a couple of factors. Would assume the 2014 could do similar, as cross bikes need at least 33 clearance+mud.

Of course, if owner treated like crap, then maybe a difference. But my 2010 still rides fine and was still racing on it until 2020. Now it’s my get-to-the-pool bike šŸ™‚

  3. I had a Norcross as my first gravel bike. A little aggressive for gravel, but great for cross. I miss it. I’m pretty sure they went under a while back, but I’d gladly ride one for cross racing.
