Hey yall, recently started riding and Im trying to get my technique down before I try out the nearest bike park. Any advice on how I can improve? Ive seen most of Ben Cathro's videos and have tried to incorporate what he teaches but im not getting much air or distance.

It looks like you’re clearing that jump nicely, landing where the trail builder intended and at the right takeoff angle and speed. I’d say that your jumping looks fine, especially for a beginner.
Don’t rush progress or force yourself to go higher / longer. Keep practicing jumping smoothly on things this size and you’ll build the experience and confidence to eventually hit bigger things safely.
The best way that I explain it to people, at the very beginning, and it seems to get through to them – is to do a bunny hop off of the lip. Start small and with more air time the rest will come
You’re jumping early. Push through the whole lip.

You’re fully extended and the front wheel hasn’t even left the lip. You shouldn’t fully extend until the rear wheel is leaving the lip.
Check out some of the Shred Academy vids. He breaks it down well I think. Good luck and may you only meet living sailors.
It’s hard to tell from this angle but it looks like you fully extend the legs way too early. You want to aim for full extension when the rear wheel leaves the lip.
I do it too. You need to pop way later than you think.
