Really enjoyed my first time riding at Bolton! Park has a nice blue jump line, a green trail for newer riders, and amazing double and single black tech. I especially loved Hydra, Waterfall, and Double Down, and the mud made the day extra spicy!
what is up mountain bikers downhill will here and today I’m at Bolton Valley Bike Park up in Richmond Vermont it’s really really gorgeous it’s late late September just about October and the colors are real they’re beautiful probably can’t see that too much on GoPro but trust me it’s gorgeous I’ve taken some laps today it’s a little bit muddy but some of these trails are super super awesome and they have some really challenging Tech Trails so let’s get right into it I’ll see you at the top all right waterfall double black I thought I was out of double black to try cuz unfortunately a lot of them are closed due to let’s see what do we got here oh crap that’s legit okay yeah buddy oh I felt good not going to lie that one made me pretty nervous sure it didn’t look like anything on camera but it felt scary all right going to go hit the hard luck shoot again because it’s a little drier now and if it’s drier hopefully I can hit a little bit quicker than last time all right here we go okay that was better that was a little that was a little bone jarring I like it I like it I like it I used up some good travel on the green I do like this green though as I’ve mentioned oo I’m always afraid I’m going to end up in that little ditch though this time I’m not going to miss this little thing all right dropping into Bluebird they’re little uh a little jump line there’s one I do just open so far I like it nothing huge but that’s expected for a blue I got to learn how to manual better I’m really terrible at it oh this is cool looks like you can Gap this nice I like that these are nice like they’re not I’m not going to say they’re lift up but they’re fun come on it’s I’m trying to make this downhill bike move for me but it doesn’t want to that’s a nice little table I must say yeah these work really well these BMS have tons of support it’s definitely not a massive jump line but it really does work let’s see whoa this Mountain’s got a lot of like little trails that um spiderweb everywhere it’s kind of hard to keep track of especially cuz I’ve only been here the one time that’s okay next year I’m going to have a whole map memorized I for now I took a picture on my phone double down really like double down it’s super fun and it’s nice cuz it’s dry there hasn’t been that much dry stuff today and that’s okay it makes it spicy and more interesting but still every once in a while being able to trust your grip a little bit more is nice although don’t trust it too much or else it’ll pull the rug right out from underneath you i o I like this wooden feature oh even on a downhill bike that’s like real chunky in here hey buddy all right double oh whoa you know what I was just saying about trusting your grip well that’s why you don’t do that that was almost really bad but it adds spice to the day yeah I got solar glare nice love that lap all right on LaVine again I want to get down to the other spot uh what is it the race course yeah that’s what it is not going to uncp this time actually I did and I had a foot down dang it I tried okay at least this time I got that okay I’m not going to call that a clean run but that was a lot better than last time so helps when you know the lines I’m not trying to be captain and obvious but it makes a big difference okay I definitely am a fan of this track beautiful leaves are falling I love fall so pretty yeah the only thing I wish I wish that actually had like a legitimate step up at the end of that just to make um like more of a grand finale for The Trail but that’s okay all righty Hydra clip in come on there we go really like Hydra who I definitely advise caution little tight yeah yeah heck yeah all right coming into Boulder Gap o man that’s a compression every time I think I’m going to do it like man there’s just not much of a landing for that whoa chunky chunky chunky mind the mud power line this time I’m going to go this way cuz last time I went the other way I like the dual options this one’s not as steep but it’s uh still pretty awesome oh this LOM is super cool look at this this looks like it’s relatively new definitely got to pay attention to where your front wheel is there all right got to look up Trail here no one coming nice all right starting up on uh Bluebird but we’re jumping on to Ledges I’ve noticed a lot of old looking Trails like they used to go one way like it was a reroute okay clipped in yep oh that’s greasy huge disadvantage to Clips right here thank you oh clipping in with mud in your cleat is tough all right power line let’s go definitely mind that pipe don’t want to be hitting your brakes on that and definitely mind this mud no breaks through there you’re going to hate yourself okay I’m not making that fool hearty choice this time I’m taking a slower but slightly safer line o o oi all right I just had to do a like at least try to get a side comparison for this drop I know it’s probably not really going to show off on camera but like it’s awesome I really do enjoy it it’s super fun hey mountain bikers thanks so much for watching as always I hope you enjoyed this video I am so so so stoked to come back to Bolton next year I really love this place it’s a little bit muddy but I’m told that’s like that a lot up here in this part ofont it’s kind of rainy anyhow I’ll see you in the next one downhill will out

You should make a trip to snow shoe in West Virginia next riding season. There's also a couple hidden gems along the way, like Valley falls. Place is full on enduro, lots for tech and double black diamonds.
I like how RAW the tech trails feel there.
Did you have to go in for a teeth tightening after some of those more bone jarring runs?
Sick riding Will, thanks for taking us along!
Awesome video, keep it up!
Enjoyed my visit there but I did skip the Waterfall drop. Little beyond me when riding solo.
Always love to see a new Downhill Will video drop!
Love that you say which trail your on. Going up next weekend. I'm trying to mix the mountain bike map with the ski map! Epic runs incoming!!!
I’m starting to get into mtb do u know Any good hard tails that are around 500 btw I ride Bolton
You should visit Burke bike park in Vermont 😂
