Hello again everyone! This is a follow up to my post yesterday and will probably be my last on this subject so don't worry I wont be spamming this sub-reddit lol.
Budget:
I have a budget of $8000 Aud, but if I can't save some that would be even better.
Background:
I ride mostly Jump Trails and Flowy Downhill Trails at the bike park.
Although after I get my new bike I want to get into some more gnarly, technical downhill trails.
I have a local dealer for Santa Cruz hence why they are on the list.
What I want:
I want a Bike that has responsive suspension and has confidence inspiring geometry, and something that if needed can be upgraded later on, especially the fork and back suspension.
I'm still learning, I have a second hand Siskiu T7 which does the job but I have the funds for something nicer and as I previously mentioned I want a Bike that grants good confidence on technical stuff so I can actually improve.
Lastly I will be keeping this Bike for a few years atleast, so something that can last say 5 years at the least.
If you need any other info let me know.
Cheers 👍

Here is the 99spokes comparison
I currently ride a Neuron 5, which was upgraded (mainly putting on a Pike Select+). Riding the Canadian east means I get a lot of chunk and tech with some nice flow here and there. My bike does great! But that’s almost irrelevant because it’s an AL frame bike with 140/130 travel. Here’s what is relevant: servicability & YOUR personal preferance.
You said your local bike shop is a Santa Cruz dealer, that means you’ll be able to service parts/problems much easier, get warranty through quicker. So weigh that in, ask yourself which one you desire more, and make your decision 🫡
Hightower all the way.
