I wouldn’t say it’s normal, whether or not it’s acceptable is up to you really.
Personally I would contact Canyon and ask them if they could offer a partial refund or a discounted accessory to make up for it. If you’re a function over form kinda person then maybe you can ignore it, but it would bother me every time I cleaned the bike.

Send it back. You should have the honor or marring your bike for the first time.

I usually just throw mine away and grab a new one from my team car or steal one from my domestiques’ boyfriend

I would send the bike back and ask a new one. Done it before with a canyon exceed, noticed a paint chip after 3 weeks, no problem. Bike in the box and new one.

That’s a CFR endurace right? With the raw carbon finish?
Almost just looks like grease you could wipe off. But if not, looks like someone sanded through a bit of carbon in the finishing process and tried to cover it up with the worst touch up paint job of all time. That’s the sort of thing that belongs on an outlet bike, not something you’re paying full price for

Canyon quality. They’ll tell you it’s cosmetic. I would try anyways but they’ll probably give you $50

Looks like a cfr endurace… Unacceptable

FWIW I got a Grail for like $1500 off in the outlet store for similar blemishes. I bet Canyon would give you a decent refund if you wanted to keep it.
