  1. Integrated crown races show up as a taper at the crown. Yours has a flat 90 degree seat, so no, it’s not integrated.

    Crown races are indeed expected to be hammered onto the steerer, which can feel *really* sketchy with carbon forks and steerers. You may want to consider splitting the crown race instead (which there’s generally no problem with on any modern cartridge bearing headset, everything tightens up when you preload the headset and the bottom bearing doesn’t rely on an uninterrupted bearing race in the crown race to roll the bearings in).

    That fork crown is flat, so it absolutely needs a separate crown race. If it’s a split crown race you can install it without special tools.
