Unless it’s basically in your office with you and you never stop for groceries or a beer with friends or anything, you should have a separate commuter bike if at all possible, one that’s not flashy looking or a ‘nice bike’.

I have this exact bike, and I love it. It’s solid and comfortable and would be a good commuter. I don’t use mine for commuting though, because I can’t bring it indoors at work. I have an older, less attractive bike for that.
