There are high volume mini pumps, Lezyne for example. When carrying a co2 pump, no way I’d carry such a large pump on top

Topeak E-Booster in my little top tube bag is what I do. Also have a Lezyne Road Drive that I mainly leave on my road bike. It came with a mount for bolting on with the bottle cage. Lezyne also makes a couple HV (high volume) drive pumps that might be worth checking out

  3. I have a LEZYNE Pocket Drive HV Mini that came with with a mounting point cage, and it lives on the left side of my front fork. I like it a lot, just have to check the bolts once a month to make sure they aren’t loosening off. No gauge on it though so when topping up outside of rides I use a normal track pump

I have a top tube bag that basically lives on the bike full time and occupies the same space as your current pump.

    Nice looking bike btw

  4. I have a Lezyne Gaige Drive HV on my gravel bike. You do need to ve a luttle careful with removable valve cores since the Lezyne hoses tend to unscrew them unless they are really tight and or/threadlocked in. Also the strap wasn’t quite adequate compared to.other Lezyne pumps so I replaced it with a mini Voile strap.

Although I mainly have CO2 (in in-frame storage) and an electric pump (in saddle bag) for some rides I also carry a normal pump (Silca Gravelero – it’s over-priced btw) but mount it to my fork leg bosses. OK it’s not aero but it’s out of the way (unless you’re planning on river crossings).

  6. I use my Oneup pump (100cc one I think).

Great mini pump plus it carries a very serviceable multitool. And the holder was designed for mountain biking so I have never had an issue with the pump falling out over rough terrain

  7. Whatever works and doesn’t weigh a full kg. Don’t overthink this…

I don’t remember the last time I had to pump the tires during a ride…

I have a silca Tattico that I put directly in my tube storage on my Diverge …Keeps it very clean.

I’ve used most of the popular mini-pumps. The only one that isn’t awful is the Silca Tattico. Not a fan of the Gravelero. Lots of reviews out there as to why.

As compared to every other pump I’ve used it takes about half the time and level of effort to inflate a 42 to 45c gravel tire versus the dozen+ other mini pumps I’ve tried. It’s the only one where I wasn’t thinking to myself how much changing a tire sucks about 2/3 of the way through inflating.

The Lezyne ones are OK for road but you’ll be on the side of the road a long time for a 45mm tire. The volume per pump isn’t there even the high volume ones.

    Topeak ones aren’t great.

CO2 leaks and if you screw it up with a bad seal you’re walking home. It’s also not TPU and tubeless friendly.

I’m too forgetful to charge electric inflators. But these are cool options if you’re a better human than me.

I have the Specialized pump. Has a nice mount ( I can’t use that location for water bottle anyway) and price was right at my LBS for $40 CAD.
