SF moved one street’s bike lanes to the middle and added bumpers, which means it is no longer functioning as a bonus lane for double parkers and deliveries and Ubers. Apparently this is causing a crisis among business owners who would NEVER have been misusing the old bike lanes endangering citizens’ lives, i’m sure!
It’s so offensive that the language is that business will “die.” No. Businesses fail when their operating models assume and require shady and illegal behavior. Humans die when they get hit by cars due to that behavior.

Business owners have people biking along the front of your restaurant and a far more pedestrian friendly space and can’t figure out how to get people in their door. Skill issue
