hello to ensure the safety of you and others on the road you would have to take some tests to be granted a fite this consists of 14 hours of cereal where you will sit in a classroom and you will learn about the car and the road and the roots of the road and you will then have to also take driving lessons which consist of a minimum of 5 hours of driving in the city 4 hours of autoban driving and 3 hours of night drives you will then have to also do a written test on a practical test you would have to complete a first aid course you would also need to prove that your eyes are work and usually all of this takes around 3 to 5 months depending on who you are you have anger issues and you’ve never driven before and you don’t know where left and right is of course you can have a license

  1. Don't forget that it costs like 3-5000 euros these days to get a license because for some reason making things everyone needs privatized is the only way to do things now…

  2. Unless you're 16, then you need 100 hours of driving, 10 highway 20 night and you need 6 months of drivers ed classroom education before you can take 5 supervised drives and a 140 question test certifying you know what a triple rail crossing sign looks like. That lets you get a licence where you can't get a ticket or else you loose it.

  3. I remember my german driving teacher and me on my second hour driving on the Autobahn. By this time i already had about 20 hours in normal driving lessons. He then asked me if i wanted to go really fast once.

    I said sure.

He pinned the pedal to the bottom of the car… 200, 210, 220 km/h.

Wenn we came back to 130km/h it felt kinda slow. He then told me, you may be allowed to go as fast as you like, but you need to be careful never to underestimate what speed you are dealing with

  4. Ich schwör deutsche Führerschein ist teilweise so unnötig. Du musst so viel dafür machen und am Ende halten die meisten eh nicht an die Verkehrsregelen

  5. In the US people are trusted to drive a multi ton vehicle that can kill dozens with a single bad move, at ludicrous speeds on busy streets before they are trusted with deciding who to have sex with.

  6. I would be so scared to drive on US streets. Anywhere could me an maniac playing around with the phone or has the eyes anywhere else but not forward looking on the streets.

  7. IDK, I had to have 60 hours/ 6 months of on the road experience with a competent driver before I could take my drivers exam, not to mention we have to take a written exam prior to obtain our learners permit.

  8. tbh the requiremente are less than the brazilian ones if i recall it correctly. but i think its only 2 hours of night driving (and no road required). also there was some time where you had to drive in a driving sim before going to practical lessons and that was some BS (they reverted it)
i used to drive emergency vehicles and our drivers fkin suck still
everyone needs do learn first aid and all of that. they do the test, get aproved, you ask of they know something and they don't know sht about it. wouldn't trust a choking kid on them.
thankfuly i did a first aid course with firefighters bc of some job stuff

  9. You need to explain that you have to pay thousands of euros for the drivers lessons! And when you fail it cost you more money and time to repeat some lessons.

  10. Not to mention that the failure rate for the drivers license in Germany is 45% for the theory test and around 40% for the practical test.
Once you failed, you have to pay to take the test again.

  11. I love that night driving is in its own category! We should do that here in Sweden too where it's even darker 😂 We have an obligatory part about driving in icy conditions though.

  12. Thats ez. Now in Poland (2025) – 30 hours of theory, 30 hours of driving in the city and 4(!) exams with a question database of 3,500(!) questions. Oh and every failed exam – you are paying for repeat. Good luck!
