I have no answer for you, but love the idea – thought about doing this myself vs. buying a gravel bike. It’s hard for me to justify paying $1500 or more when one could upgrade a 90’s bike (nicely) for half that. It’d be heavier but get you there just the same! Congrats.

The problem with most front racks is that they need fork eyelets or a brake bridge to stabilize it. Your bike has some crappy brakes. They block the brake bridge hole.
