Today’s cycle I start on the B4300 just outside Capel Dewi, by the bus shelter. I ride from here over the river and toward Nantgaredig. After having a quick view to see what’s going on with the path that leads to Llandeilo I head to Abergwili on the new Twyi Cycle path and then onto Carmarthen…

Proheads rider see the world cycle. Well, hello and welcome to the Crossroans Rider. Uh I’m heading to N Greedig today. just uh just ridden just outside on the other side of the bridge at the moment, but I’m going to cross over the bridge over the river and then we’re going to check out that new uh cycle path, the Tawi Valley cycle path, which is partially open. It’s basically open from Nradig to Abiguili. So, I’m going to go and see the state of that. So, apparently it’s open. So, without further ado, I think we’ll head off and uh go and check it out. Rider, let’s get hyper. Cross hands rider. It’s better than the arrival. See the world. This is the uh this is part of Route 47 here. And this would have been the only way if you wanted to get to Clandyl or even Lredig. The only real safe road. I say safe. It’s not that safe, but it’s safer than the A40. So, Pewy head towards an anchor edited. Check there’s nothing coming. Okay. And we can go over the bridge. Got a lovely little view of a lovely view of the river here. Now, I believe we got to go down there in the minute, But I want to check out the second stretch while I’m here. So, it’s just after Easter. And I believe the second stretch is supposedly down here, but I don’t think there’s anything open down here at the moment. This is where it’s going. I at the moment at least see where it’s going. That looks like workmen are doing stuff at the moment down here, doesn’t it? So, if this is where it goes, I don’t think it’s ready yet. So that’s this looks like where you need to go which is so to head towards Abuqueredic. You can see the sign for the Nangredic rugby club. You sort of go where that’s pointing because the path heads towards and past the uh the big club. It goes along here. So, we’re going to head along this bit now and hopefully we can join up with the the main cycle path and carry on from here. Very mixed weather today. We’re not sure whether it’s going to rain or I’ve been hot and cold and almost with a little spray of water in in places. It’s extremely mixed bag weatherwise. So, here’s the rugby club which we are going past. And uh it looks like the sign to jump on the uh path. And this is it. And here we go. Welcome to the new cycle path. Here’s a cycle path by look of it. We go off here. Aha. Here we are. So this is where we go. path liable to flood. That’s extremely useful, isn’t it? I’ll turn the camera that direction. I don’t know whether you can see, but it’s the river towi over there. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. So yes, very it is flat. It’s uh nicely tarmaced. The path is uh it’s lovely. Wish the weather could be a little bit nicer out. It’s uh bit of a cold and it’s quite windy, but overall this path is lovely. Highly recommended and it will be great once it gets all the way to land. Well, people walking on it, more walkers and cyclists. Anyway, there’s the uh main road up there, the A40, which is uh not something we do want to cycle at all really. Some of the bridge over the river. I don’t think that’s for very close to the road a 40 b. So there’s the ESO garage at White Mill. I think we need to get through here now. So that’s the river there. Yeah, nice path. Really is nice. I said how long it’ll stay in this condition is another matter. But at least uh at least for now it’s nice. So we’re going to head off to uh well we’ll get to Abigule Museum which is where this sort of path finishes and then we’re going to have to take on some uh cycle paths around Kamaran to uh well basically get through to the other side. I’m then going to basically loop around and uh head back. But this is a much needed hopefully it will be a much used path once more people know about it. See, find explor The world cycle. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Just a little bit of a hill coming up back there. So, it does look like you have to go onto a little bit of a road, a lane for a a minute or two. So, they haven’t hooked up the path entirely 100%. There’s a tiny bit where you have to join a sort of a a lane where you could come across a car, but it’s only a small stretch. Right onwards to Abigui. Now that is the bit has opened and I believe this bit was opened beforehand. So, this has been in existence a little bit longer. a very busy car park here and there’s a museum in there. So, not going to the museum today. So, Just going to cycle through a guilli now. See this stretch is just on the road. So just over the dual carriageway bridge, there’s a cycle path that runs alongside the dual carriageway. I have cycled on it before and I’m going to cycle on it again. Right. And off we go. So there you can see the path basically does go along the jewel. So, uh, so yeah, last year I actually, um, did a video where I cycled around Kamadan a bit and, uh, I did this stretch then. That was back in the winter. This time it’s sort of spring, summer, I suppose. So anyway, this does allow you to at least get to Kamarvin on a cycle path. So you only have to do a little bit on the road through Abigui itself to get on to the uh the new uh Tawi Valley uh psychop path. What? Well, this is as good as anywhere for me to have a little something to eat cuz I’m bit peckish and it’s just hit midday. So, uh bear with me while I uh have something to eat. As it’s just after Easter, it sort of makes sense to have a hot crisp bun, doesn’t it? So, which is a picture. They haven’t got some sheets around here already, doesn’t it? The gurgling. Where’s the food? Where’s the cake? Open wide. Oh, yes. Cross hands rider up. Oh yeah. Yeah. Cross hands right up. Let’s get cross hands rider up. Let’s get higher. Cross hands right up. It’s better than the arrival. See the world psycho. Anyway, thank you for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe. See the world cycle. Heat. Heat.

Nice work on that path, looked smoothππ
Oh looks amazing π maybe car from Mumbles to the path.
Use the path regularly after work in glangilli hospital π₯ and come back to Carmarthen on the capel Dewi road. You're right about the A40 it's a bit sketchy but I also use it a lot to get to llandeilo . I enjoyed your video π
