  1. By all accounts yes. If you aren’t prepared to learn to ride a vintage bike, it’s not the right bike

  2. if it is mechanically sound, then that’s a nice but old bike, and $100 is actually very decent price in general market terms.

    Whether it’s worth $100 to you is a separate question, if it fits your physiology and desired riding style and you don’t mind dealing with / maintaining an older bike, then probably worth it.

    Check the frame for squareness and run your fingers over the top tube where you see it clamped in those pics though to check for dents, hopefully they didn’t crumple it like a soda can 🙁

  3. Depends what you want to use it for. As a museum piece, mounting on a wall, or casual commuting and you dig the retro/vintage vibe then absolutely worth it. It’s an old bike using a lot of old or outdated technology, standards and components so parts will be a challenge, especially new parts.

    If you’re buying it as a bike novice assuming it’s a modern bike then I’d avoid and do some more research.
