The men’s under 203 World Championship at the 2025 U Martin Bank World Championships are you can see the amount of dust that kicked up earlier on on the small descent into this section as the riders come down and through. At the moment, Trudler, Bashi, Halter, Lom, Krueger, Pedison all at the front of the race. And the first rider to hit that section is going to be Adrian Bashi leading with Trudler on his wheel at the moment. And this is Punchard at the moment trying to make the bridge across, make that gap across as they heading into towards our first split on lap number two. So just watching our leading group which is now four riders with the arrival of Punchard on the rear here. So we have the rider riding for Switzerland that is Finn Trudler the number one on the World Cup circuit. So that move by Trudler going up towards like Shaman on to the high point before the drop down through the rock garden and through the waterfall coming to nothing that time round but has definitely exposed some weaknesses maybe and and maybe just shown he’s definitely the best climber at the moment in the race. Washi though getting that momentum getting onto the wheel. Lap two of eight. Six laps to go. Four riders leading at the moment. The ride is heating up very much so at the moment as we see Punchard now go to the front and Bashi is not able to hold the wheel of Trudler. So a push here by Cole Punch. So up through the split. Let’s see what that time gap is. And I think Bashi is struggling here. We know that Pison have been dropped and Washi now is going to be passed by Pison. Look at that gap now that these two riders have formed and Washi not in sight as we see Truda now on the attack on this climb. He didn’t take a bottle. Punchard did as they came through the tech zone and on the climb now he’s got six seconds on the Canadian. No, it’s a big push and on lap four of eight at the moment. Well, Trudler has just gone for it and opened up the throttle on lap four of eight. Cole Punchard not able to respond at the moment. At the head of the race, Trudler continues to push on the climb. as he continues to drive his way towards the finish of the race. [Applause] Well, look at this. He’s in tears already. He can’t believe it. The 2025 under 23 men’s mountain bike Olympic distance champion, the XCO world champion Finrudler from Switzerland. Silver medal on that podium stage for Cole Punchard of Canada. This is going to be Gustaf Pedson. He’s going to take away third place here today. The Dane, a fantastic ride by him. Gold medalist and world champion is Finn Toy, silver medalist, Cole Punchard, and bronze medalists, Gustav Hean.
