  1. Thats a titanium frame, but a carbon fork, so the fork is still definitely worth inspecting up close.
    Personally I wouldnt get a titanium (or rim brake) bike as an entry into cycling. Essentially nothing in this bike can be upgraded over time and replacing some parts might prove tricky too.

    All that said, it doesn’t look like a bad bike if the size is right

  2. Wouldn’t recommend this as it’s quite expensive for such an old bike. It is likely you will have to replace parts like bearings, chain, cassette quite soon on a 10 year. Also it has rim brakes and external cable routes, which are not necessarily bad but kind of out of date.

    I would recommend a new entry level road bike or a 1 or 2 year old used bike.

  3. It’s a great bike…check the welds…fork. You may have to replace the bearings, bottom bracket, and brake pads, chain, and cables. It’s a great bike to learn maintenance. Calculate how much you plan to spend on it vs buying it. Good luck!
