Kind of a follow up post from last week looking for places to ride in western MA/Berkshires (got some great suggestions!).
Have gotten a couple great rides in but these inclines are kicking my butt (I don’t get nearly as much elevation/climbing back home in Jersey where I mostly ride). Currently rocking a 2x 32/48t up front and a 11-36 in the back. Has me questioning a 1x I’m getting built up soon that is planned to be a 40t and 11-44 in the back.
So yeah just curious what gearing you guys tend to use here for your rides!

I ride a 1×12 Salsa Warbird in the area (based in Millerton). I have 42t with 10-44. You’ll be fine.
I have a Specialized Sirrus that had similar gearing to your bike and went with a 1x 38/11-46 and it’s been great out here.
