Hi everyone!
I recently got myself a new bike frame, a Nordest Sardinha 2. Nice steel frame oriented towards bikepacking but designed to accept suspension forks as well (up to 120 mm).
The fork comes with a 1 1/8" steerer tube and the frame has a 44 mm head tube, so in theory it should be possible to put a suspension fork with tapered tube.
I want this to be, at least for the time being, my only bike, so I would use it for both trail riding and the occasional bikepacking trip. For now I will mount the rigid fork (the kit came with a Cane Creek headset), but in my ideal world, I would swap forks depending on the day.
Do you guys know how to do this without having to swap headsets? Is there any specific headset out there that allows for this? Maybe a headset for tapered steerer tubes and use a spacer on the rigid fork?

Yea it’s possible you can get a crown adapter that will fit the 1 1/8 to tapered tube
you need an ec44 lower cup and you’ll be good to go.
Cane Creek also make a tapered headset to straight steerer crown race. Heavy AF but works well.
