If you’ve got the luggage rack, you could use one of the “Junior” seats from Qibbel, Urban iki, etc. I’ve got the Urban iki seat on a Tern and my 6-year-old loves it.

Almost no one is willing to sell them in the U.S. because the safety standard for bike seats doesn’t cover seats for kids above 40 lb, and with the current tariff nonsense none of the usual European suppliers will ship to the U.S. so you may have trouble getting your hands on one at the moment. Hopefully the situation improves before she doesn’t fit in the Yepp Maxi anymore.

  2. Looks like ride1up sells a [passenger kit](https://ride1up.com/product/electric-bike-passenger-kit/) that includes a seat pad and foot pegs. As long as the kid’s legs are long enough to reach the pegs, it seems fine for an older kid. You can get a handlebar that attaches to the seatpost to give her something to hold onto, as long as there’s enough room, but just the footpegs would probably be fine since the passenger can use those to stay balanced.
