Go for it. Take the reflectors off the wheels while you’re at it. An accent color somewhere else would be nice too. It’s all black and silvery brown.

  2. Sometimes, less is more. You’ve got garmin mounts, and phone mounts, reflectors, locks, every bag that ali express has to offer, reflectors, bells, and lights. It’s all very busy.

If you’re riding at night, the reflectors might make sense, but if it were my bike, I would not run them.

I’d dump the reflectors and only get tan walls once you’ve worn these tires out. Also we need drive side pics.

Tan walls never hurt but you should chuck those reflectors and the dork disc. You’ll lose them eventually anyways.

  6. Do you need an excuse to spend money?

If so – yes. You need them what’s wrong with you. Why are you riding around on your bike looking stupid.

If not – no way man, tan walls are a stupid waste of money. You got perfectly good rubber that looks amazing.

Get rid of the reflectors and your phone mount. Flip the stem, then mount your handlebars so they are level. Remove the back reflector and the saddle bag and the massive lock.

Then your bike is going to look cool and like the bikes of all the other gcool guys you want yours to look like. Tan walls isn’t going to change a thing.

If I was buying new tires and the same model’s tan wall tires were more expensive, I’d buy the tan wall version.

You gotta look good when you are out there!

Like everyone else said, ditch the dork disc and reflectors.

  9. Am I crazy that I don’t need bags on my frame? I just take a backpack to commute, or bike pack.

  10. Try new colored pedals and get some bar tape to match it. Or if you think tan colored sidewalls will make you happy go ahead and do it.
