Beautiful Views from Oaxaca Mexico ❤️🇲🇽

🌎 Welcome to our channel! We’re Jennifer & Darryle two Canadians
(plus our 15-year-old Maltese!) who moved to Mexico in 2021 and have been traveling the country ever since.

We kicked off the day at 8 AM in Oaxaca City and set out for El Palenque – Parque Recreativo, located near the town of San Andrés Zautla in Oaxaca’s beautiful Central Valleys. Joining me on this ride were my good friends Larry and Druba.

Although Larry had some trouble getting his e-bike running, he still managed to enjoy a ride down in the valley, while Druba and I took on the challenging hill trails. We climbed steadily for over 3 hours on our bikes, weaving through rugged terrain and enjoying the perfect weather—not too hot and not too cool, just right for a long ride.

We took a few breaks along the way to hydrate, grab a snack, and capture some incredible footage with our DJI Neo drone. From high above, you’ll see sweeping views of the valleys, hills, and trails as the drone even followed us along the ride—an epic bird’s-eye perspective of our Oaxaca adventure.

This ride was the perfect mix of exercise, nature, and exploration, showcasing the beauty of Oaxaca off the beaten path. If you love cycling, outdoor adventures, or simply want to see a different side of Oaxaca beyond the city streets, this video is for you!

Jennifer’s at home Tuesday morning 8:00 here with my dear friend Larry out biking again. [Music] Nice view. [Music] Wow. Absolutely beautiful. Oh, freak. Yeah, this is nice. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s very beautiful here for sure. Waka is a beautiful state. And of all the places I’ve lived in Mexico, Waka has got the best food. Wow. Absolutely beautiful. Yeah. We just love the the culture, the people, you know, it’s so family orientated, you know, Mexico, the food, the weather, just everything is just, you know, so nice. This is amazing. Look at this guys. Wow. Freaking beautiful. Heat. Heat. [Music] Daddy, everybody. [Music] Okay, Chico. So, this type of train here, you can see there’s massive massive ruts here from the rain. So, going down these hills, so it’s washed out the sand. This is pretty sandy back here. So, it’s created all these ruts here, which almost makes it impossible to ride. But now, there’s been a few spots where we’ve gotten off and walked because it’s just too rough. So, good now. All right. Oh, nice big puddle. a lake. Perfecto. There’s a fair bit of water here. Oh, pretty deep there. Oh, yeah. Very cool. You see how green it is down here now in the water? Nice. It almost got like limestone rock here. Looks like limestone. I’m not sure if it is, but getting pretty ruddy again. Well, we’re climbing though. Hey, you see there have been trucks up here. All right, chos. We’re going to turn around here. Uh Larry was having trouble with his bike there. He couldn’t get going, so it uh kept shutting off on him. So, he’s going to come back and pick us up. But it’s 11 now, so just after 11. We’re going to head back now, guys. It’s not 11 yet. No, not quite. Oh, 10:30. Okay, that’s okay. Close enough. We’ll take our time going back. No, this is a beautiful area. I really like it up here. It’s nice. Nice and open. Very cool. They’re just trails going everywhere. You see somebody lost their shorts. You could see uh remnants where guys had stopped and had some shots of messcal or tequila or something. You see the little shooter cups there. They left their garbage behind. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] Yeah, with this bike gear, you can you can go places you can’t go with the regular mountain bike. For me anyway, like I get in these ruts and I’d have to get off and walk. Whereas with a mountain ebike, you just pedal right through it. No problem. You know, even these ruts are no match for the for the ebike really. You know, you just go I’m getting a good workout cuz I’m climbing these these ruts and these hills. So, where I’d be walking otherwise, which is nice. I don’t know if I could do this trail on my mountain bike. I think it would be too much for me on my bike. There’s no way. Some of it will be okay, but some of it not so much. Now, this is a damn good bike. This one, I’ll tell you. Well, as you can see, Chico, we are pretty high up valley down below there.
