Last month I went on my first solo trip, it was also the first successful test of my camping gear and setup. I chose this loop because it is close to were I live and I could reach the starting point it by adding an additional 70km.
The route is a loop in the Sibillini national park and it offers very nice scenery, food and fun riding. It is a relatively short route (160km) even though it has quite some climbing (5000m), with some of them steep and technical. I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore some less visited parts of Italy. I used my gravel bike even though I had to carry it on some of the most technical sections and I camped both nights close to mountain huts.

Well done, I use my Gravel bike as well, as an allrounder, but I don’t bike pack with it, I carry pannier bags instead. It is used mainly in remote arid areas of OZ mainly on tracks, trails and tarmac.
