  1. These picks are absolutely good enough, but if you need them for internal cable routing they are not the right tool. Park sells a tool that is essentially a magnet on a string, the idea being that you use an external magnet to guide it in and out of the bike, then use the string to pull the cable housing through.

  2. You can get a set from Harbor Freight for $2. I use those for all kinds of stuff on both bikes and cars.

  3. I feel naked if I don’t have my 90 degree park tool pick with the magnet on me. I use both ends all day.
