I bought a pair of new shoes online from a reputable retailer in my country and the shoes they sent look lightly used.
I understand that shoes probably get tried on in-store but the soles are actually stained, there is some light scuffing, and there are frayed threads.
It's a bit hard to see in the last photo but it looks like something may have been spilled on one shoe.
I've emailed the retailer and they haven't replied.

Return them
Fizik vento? They do look like they’ve been walked around in. It will come down to how much you want to be put out? Personally I would send them the pictures asking for some goodwill in the form of a voucher and then giving the ones you received a go over with a wet wipe.
“Lightly” used, return them, Spam the seller or try to find a way to get your money back, because, these are not new shoes, the she’s may be in good condition, but they were advertised as new, so you should get new, not lightly used.
This model looks really good, but this pair looks used. I’ll return it.
Those seem fine.
What I will point out is that you seem to have purchased white gravel shoes. TF is wrong with you?
