Need more torque? Get a strap wrench and grab the hub shell with it.

If you are just harvesting the freehub, clamp the flange in the vice and put a long lever (old handlebar) on the short side of the Allen key

I had one where I had to go in from the brake side I think was a 10mm to get the hub loose. The hub itself was a female and a short screw went in from the brake side to hold it secure. The 10 would not fit without having to take the bearing race or seal to say off. It was like Gtech hub or something like that.

Grab a center lock to 6 bolt adapter install it, and clamp that in the vice then loosen with the allen wrench maybe using a breaker bar with a socket instead of an L bend

😬. Pull the free hub off before unlacing the wheels. You needed the leverage.

Go back in time when the hub was laced to a hoop that you could grab and turn
