Those look like fairly low end brifters, but that is what I’m used to so I wouldn’t have any problem with it, and on a bike I need to just work is probably what I would go with. Bar ends are objectively cooler (in my subjective opinion lmao) and if it didn’t matter that it would take a while to get used to them I’d probably give them a shot.

I would vote the bar ends too. I think the ergonomics of those brifters are going to be kind of sucky on super wide bars

Are those Weinmann levers? I take the covers off and rock them nude – they’re gorgeous and they feel great too.

Bar ends are classy, but if I’m gonna be spending time off gravel, I’m gonna want brifters for the functionality
