Canyon Neuron 6 -vs- Santa Cruz Blur XC -vs- Yeti SB 100

I am ever so close to buying my first MTB since 2021, and already thanks to all of you in this sub!

I will try to be brief.

My use case: “Downcountry” (which i recently learned was a joke, but kind of describes what I do perfectly). I don’t hit jumps, but I like to “fly over” the rocky and rooty trails at speed. I live in a hilly area, so that means multiple climbs per outing.

The candidates:

* Is new (both a pro and a con)
* 140/130mm of travel
* usually great value for the money
* can be paid in installments

* Used, but new frame and swing arm done by LBS
* I heard the switch infinity can be tricky, but how big a deal is that if its freshly serviced?
* I generally love Yeti’s but most of the newer ones are waaay too expensive.

* Used
* Is the 120mm travel enough for my use case?
* Biggest drop vs new price and SC is obviously a reputable (if overpriced) brand.
* I ll never ever own a new Santa Cruz, so this is as close as I can get to it.

Which would you take?
This whole exercise started because I felt the Neuron would be “too much”. As the rocks and roots here can get quite rowdy tho, now I don’t know if the Yeti or SC with their 120mm could handle those at speed.
