Hi San Diego peeps, My friends Sonia and Eloi of Wheel Print Stories are in need of ~29×2.4 tires to continue their trip into Mexico and South America. They’ve continuously ridden GDMBR (with me!), Colorado Trail, Monarch Crest Trail, Kokopelli, White Rim, Arizona Trail and are now in San Diego resting and restocking before heading into Mexico and beyond. They desperately need tires that can get them down the trail before heading back to Spain around the new year. They are on a budget I cannot comprehend, about $6 a day. That means no hotels, no eating out, and repairs usually mean a shortened trip. Thus they are looking for tires someone can donate. Used is fine, they just need to be good tread for the next part of the journey. They’re in SD until Fri Oct 20, 2023 so needed quickly. Post here or reach out to them on their IG. Check out Cycle Quest in Sorrento Valley. It’s a touring/packing oriented store, but they also have tyres online and should have a large selection of tyres.. and knowledgeable guys with experience
