There really should be some regulations for owning these giant snake species. If a species is going to need like half a room or more at full size you should have to show you have the knowledge and resources to meet it's needs as well as having a protocol for rehoming if anything happens. It's entirely possible that someone passed and when the person responsible for their estate couldn't get a rescue to take these giant snakes they let them outside. It's not ok but dealing with these big guys if you're not used to them can be a lot and grieving people do silly things sometimes.

I saw a massive python on the canals in Birmingham, I saw it on the waters edge of the canal near the river cole. The thing was massive at least 14 feet. They'll get out of control soon.

I hope they have the best home now. They deserve that.

Please, if you can’t look after your animals, just give them to someone who will. Take them to a reptile shelter or rescue.

This would have been so incredibly stressful for them. I’m so glad that they are now at least safe and being cared for.
